Aloe barbadensis miller
Aloe Vera is one of the most useful plants you can own. Its thick, fleshy leaves contain a clear gel with well-documented soothing properties for minor burns and skin irritation. It's also a striking architectural plant that thrives on neglect, tolerates drought, and looks beautiful in terracotta pots on a sunny windowsill.

Care Guide

Watering
Water every 3–4 weeks in summer. Allow soil to dry completely between waterings.
Pups
Remove offsets (pups) that form around the base and pot them up separately.
Gel harvesting
Cut outer leaves at the base and slice open to access the soothing gel.
Soft, mushy leaves
Overwatering. Reduce watering and ensure excellent drainage.
Brown leaf tips
Underwatering or too much direct sun. Adjust accordingly.
Leaning to one side
Rotate the pot regularly so all sides get equal light.
